The Midsummer Mozart Festival proudly presents its 41st summer concert season.  The 2015 festival will be conducted by its founder, Maestro George Cleve, one of the world’s most persuasive Mozart interpreters.

Program one features Mozart’s, Symphony No. 41 in C Major, K. 551, “Jupiter.” Guest artist, Christina Major, soprano will be performing Non piu di fiore, from La clemenza di Tito, K. 621 and Nehmt meinen Dank, concert aria, K. 383.   Also featuring guest artists Laura Griffiths playing the Oboe Concerto in C Major, K285d/314 and Glen Swarts performing the Horn Concerto No. 2 in Eb Major, K. 417.

Program two, which takes place on Thursday July 23, features Seymour Lipkin performing Piano Concerto No. 27 in Bb Major, K. 595.  Selected arias and duets will be sung by guest artists, Eugene Brancoveanu, baritone and Tania Mandzy Inala, mezzo-soprano. Maestro Cleve will conduct the Midsummer Mozart Orchestra in Six German Dances, K. 571 and the Symphony No. 35 in D Major, K. 385, “Haffner.”
