Things change. We understand. If unforeseen circumstances prevent you from using your Stanford Live tickets, we offer both exchanges and donations.

Exchanges

Exchanges may be made in person, by phone, by mail, or online for another Stanford Live performance during the current season, pending availability. All prices and programs are subject to change. Exchanges will be made for the value of your ticket(s) at time of purchase.

If ticket exchanges are for a lower-priced ticket, the difference may be used towards additional Stanford Live event tickets or placed on account for future use during the current Stanford Live season. Funds placed on account and not used during the current season will be forfeited.

We are pleased to offer free ticket exchanges for Full and Mini Subscribers and for donors at the Friend ($150) level and above. All other exchanges will incur a $5 handling charge per ticket.

Exchanges can be made in person, by phone, online or by mail for another performance during the current Stanford Live season, pending availability.

Donations

You can also donate your tickets for resale, which creates opportunities for other patrons to enjoy the performance—and also provides you with a tax deduction.

Your generous donation helps provide access for audiences that might not otherwise have the economic means to attend, such as schools and local charitable organizations. We thank you for your gift and for keeping the arts a vital and vibrant part of our community.

All donated tickets are tax-deductible (for the lesser of face value or fair market value) if received by the deadlines noted below. Consult your personal tax advisor for details. The value of the ticket donation will not affect your Stanford Live donor level. Please read the following procedures to donate your tickets.

  • Ticket donations made at the venue box office less than 60 minutes before the performance are not tax-deductible.
