...to our love for live performance! Some of our staff members shared their favorite recipes that you can whip up at home for our May 27 virtual season announcement event and other virtual performances.
 

Musical Mocktail

  • 3-5 torn mint leaves
  • 1/2 lime (cut into 4 pieces)
  • Ice
  • 4 oz. ginger beer
  • 2 oz. sparkling water (or any flavor la croix/bubly/whatever)
  • Lime slice and a small handful of berries to garnish

In a thick bottomed glass, muddle the lime and mint leaves together. Add ice to top of glass, then pour in ginger beer and sparkling water. Garnish and enjoy. 


Intermission Iced Coffee

  • 2 tbsp. of instant coffee
  • 2 tbsp. of sugar
  • 2 tbsp. of boiling water
  • Ice
  • Milk of choice

In a mixing bowl, add instant coffee, sugar, and boiling water. Whisk vigorously for 5-6 minutes until the whisk holds soft but sturdy peaks. Fill your favorite glass 3/4 full with ice and milk. Spoon coffee mixture on top. Enjoy!


Mask-On Margarita

  • 2 oz good tequila (Some staff favorites include Espolòn, Patron Silver, and Don Julio Añejo—but any will work!)
  • 1.5 oz Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice Approx 2 Limes
  • 1 oz triple sec
  • 1.5 cups Ice Cubes
  • Lime Slice
  • Coarse Kosher Salt

Mix in a large glass, salt the rim of drinking glass if desired, pour drink into glass, and garnish with lime slice.


Staccato Strawberry Dacquiri

  • 1 1/2 oz Light Rum
  • 3/4 oz Fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz Rich simple syrup (2 parts sugar, 1 part water)
  • 1 Strawberry
  • 6 Ice cubes

Throw it all in a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy in a fun glass!


Maestro Mojito

  • 1 shot of white rum
  • 1/2 lime (cut into 4 pieces)
  • Sprig of mint (6-10 leaves)
  • Ice
  • Sprite (or seltzer water and limeade)

In a thick bottomed glass, muddle the rum, lime, and mint leaves together. Fill the same glass with Ice (if using crushed ice, leave some extra room at the top). Top off with Sprite (or seltzer water and limeade).
