Member Appreciation Night at Frost Amphitheater

In April 2021, Stanford Live reopened with Stanford Under the Stars: Movie Nights at Frost, a new series of movie screenings featuring Stanford alums and iconic Northern California filming locations. As a thank you to all of our dedicated members who supported Stanford Live during the challenging year and made our return to in-person events possible, we hosted a special Member Appreciation night in May at Frost Amphitheater with a screening of the 2019 movie Yesterday.

Nearly 200 members attended to enjoy an evening out after so long without in-person events. After guests settled into their seats, executive director Chris Lorway welcomed everyone and thanked them for their membership support. He also announced the return of live, outdoor performances this summer through partnerships with other Bay Areas arts presenters. In addition to the screening of Yesterday, members also saw a sneak peek of our latest short film featuring musicians from the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra.
