The world premiere of Bolero Silicon Valley highlights Keigwin + Company's Stanford Live appearance. The inventive and theatrical New York choreographer Larry Keigwin scored a major hit in 2007 when his Keigwin + Company, joined by 46 Manhattan civilians, premiered Bolero NYC, which the New York Times called “a gloriously stylized evocation of the joys of New York set to the slow crescendo of Ravel’s score.” Since then, he has collaborated with many communities throughout the United States to reinvent the piece to reflect the lives of residents in these individual settings.

Adapting the work for Stanford’s singular environs and collaborating with and featuring local civilian performers, Keigwin’s jubilant Bolero Silicon Valley will unfold throughout Bing in a large-scale celebration of our community.
