Current artists-in-residence at Cornell University, the Israeli Chamber Project has emerged as one of the most electrifying ensembles to appear in the past decade, winning worldwide acclaim for its depth and virtuosity. The program incorporates two 20th-century masterworks: Stravinsky’s neoclassical ballet Pulcinella in its cha-mber arrangement and Schoenberg’s haunting vocal work Pierrot Lunaire in a semi-staged version.

We are thrilled to work with the highly collaborative Israeli Chamber Project. The program seeks to reconcile two towering figures of modernism—Stravinsky and Schoenberg—and engage us in dialogue about their far-reaching legacies today.
