Stanford TAPS and Asian American Theater Project (AATP) present an unconventional production of Lerner and Loewe's classic Broadway musical My Fair Lady  directed by Ken Savage '14.

My Fair Lady tells the story of Eliza Doolittle and Professor Henry Higgins: a Cockney flower girl who aspires to become a proper lady in British society and the man who enables her transformation. This unique production ofMy Fair Lady, inspired by Orientalism in fashion and the history of white British and Asian tensions in 1912 London,  reinvigorates this classic narrative with a new sense of struggle and triumph as an Asian Eliza Doolittle and Henry Higgins explode the traditional molds of rigid high society.
