Soprano Joyce DiDonato is not only one of the finest singers in the world of opera, but one of its most theatrical and imaginative. With a voice “nothing less than 24-carat gold,” according to the New York Times, her acclaim precedes her. DiDonato shines both as a performer and as a fierce advocate for the arts, reaching greater heights with each new endeavor. In this latest presentation of her vocal mastery, DiDonato and her ensemble Il Pomo d’Oro explore our interconnectivity to nature and to each other through a selection of baroque and contemporary works and a guest appearance from Bay Area choir group iSing Silicon Valley.
