​​Conductor Paolo Bortolameolli leads Kevin Puts’ lively SF Symphony co-commission Contact, performed by the genre-bending string trio Time for Three. Also on the program: two wildly different interpretations of the Viennese waltz from Richard Strauss and Maurice Ravel.
