Alternative artist iskwē and JUNO award-winning singer-songwriter William Prince join Stanford Live Executive Director Chris Lorway in a conversation and song exchange celebrating Canada's Indigenous sounds.

More about iskwē
A JUNO Award-nominated artist for Best Adult Alternative Album and Music Video of the year, iskwē’s songs spotlight the importance and plight of Indigenous peoples and territories in Canada. Her style tips a cap to modern innovators like Florence + The Machine and FKA twigs while honoring sounds accumulated over centuries by her cree and Métis ancestors.

More about William Prince
William Prince’s trajectory from Peguis First Nation in Manitoba, Canada to opening for Neil Young has turned heads around the world. Prince’s songs explore ideas of connection, healing, peace, and dedication in his signature and unforgettable baritone.

As part of Stanford Live's 2020–21 season, iskwē will be performing on January 23, 2021 at Bing Concert Hall, and William Prince will be performing on October 23, 2020 in the Bing Studio.
