Each week, Stanford Under the Stars: Movie Nights at Frost brings a selection of movies featuring actors who attended Stanford or various Stanford and Northern California filming locations.
View a selection of short documentary films by first year students in the acclaimed MFA in Documentary Film Program at Stanford. A Q & A with filmmakers will immediately follow the screening. The line-up will include the following short films:
Fishbowl (working title)
A film by Drew de Pinto
At the height of the pandemic, a "drag-adjacent" show featuring trans performance artists emerged in the storefront windows of a historic Haight Ashbury hotel. A year later, the artists behind the show fight eviction while organizing to radically transform the future of the building.

Rooted in the director's experience of chronic migraines, the camera explores her world in soft focus.
The Yerba Buena Chess Club (working title)

A community forms from a mutual adoration of outdoor chess.
