Dance artist Lil Buck conceived, choreographed, and performs in this tribute to his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee, birthplace to the unique dance style known as Memphis Jookin’. Eight incredible dancers and a DJ follow the path of Jookin’ from the streets of Memphis to international phenomenon.

The safety of our patrons, staff, and artists is of utmost importance. All visitors coming to Stanford Live must meet at least one of two criteria: 1) be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 OR 2) receive a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours prior to arrival onsite. All patrons are required to wear a mask at student matinee performances and teacher workshops.
