One of the founding members of the legendary Grateful Dead, Bob Weir has become one of rock’s finest and most distinctive rhythm guitarists. He returns to Frost Amphitheater, this time with his latest group, Bobby Weir & The Wolf Bros, formed in 2018 by Weir, Grammy-winning producer and bassist Don Was, drummer Jay Lane, and pianist Jeff Chimenti. Though The Grateful Dead’s sound is often defined by its psychedelic elements, Bobby Weir & The Wolf Bros focuses on the rootsy aspects of the historic group’s expansive discography in songs that reimagine The Grateful Dead while still fusing the band's nearly mythological elements.
