The production, developed by Feist with legendary designer Rob Sinclair (David Byrne’s American Utopia, Peter Gabriel, Tame Impala) is an in-the-round performance with fully immersive surround sound where Feist will be closer than ever to her audience. The circle represents time, life and death, the sun and moon, the earth itself and us all within it. The circle provides a gentle hospitality for this shared experience.

Conceived during and in response to the pandemic when stages had to remain empty and communal joy was interrupted, Multitudes offers a joint and safe re-entry to the rarified air of performance; it is both an end and a beginning.

Featuring all new music written and performed by Feist and accompanied by Todd Dahlhoff and Amir Yaghmai, the Canadian artist creates an intimate, radically communal, and topsy-turvy production that muddies the roles between audience and performer, observer and its subject. We are welcomed to sit back and watch, or raise our voices in collective anonymity. Anything goes.

Widely recognized as one of the most compelling vocalists and songwriters in her genre, Leslie Feist is an 11-time Juno Award-winning solo artist and founding member of Broken Social Scene. Following the breakout success of her sophomore album Let It Die, she went on to achieve international acclaim with 2007’s The Reminder that landed on best-of-the-year lists from outlets like Pitchfork, Spin, and Rolling Stone. Best known for hits like “1234” and “Mushaboom,” Feist has performed on iconic shows like Saturday Night Live and Sesame Street. Her signature ethereal sound continues to captivate audiences worldwide.

Get $15 Study Break rush tickets for Feist's 9:00 PM shows. Buy tickets at the Box Office located on the back side of Memorial Auditorium after 7:30 PM on the day of the show to get access to discounted tickets. One ticket per Stanford student ID.
