Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah is an Edison Award–winning and Grammy-nominated jazz trumpeter and composer from New Orleans. Described by the New York Times as a musician “breaking new ground,” Adjuah is a skillful player who blends the sounds of modern hip-hop with ancient, diasporic rhythms. His bold new album, Ancestral Recall, combines music styles and folklore from the African and Caribbean diaspora with the Indigenous cultures of New Orleans.
