Cantabile Youth Singers of Silicon Valley, led by Artistic Director Elena Sharkova, is celebrating 30 years of bringing world-class music education and choral performance to school age students in the communities of the Peninsula and South Bay.

Known for its blend of tradition and innovation, Cantabile’s genre-defying and inspirational concert programs are a feast for ears, eyes, heart and mind. Cantabile top choirs tour internationally every year and have given stand-alone concerts in fifteen countries and musical landmarks such as the Berliner Philharmonie, Notre Dame de Paris, Carnegie Hall, St. Peter's Cathedral in Rome, Glinka Kapella in St. Petersburg, Montserrat Abbey, Wells Cathedral and St. Martin-in-the-fields, among others.

Cantabile will perform the world premiere of We Are the Garden, a multi-movement choral composition by American composer Jocelyn Hagen commissioned for Cantabile’s 30th anniversary season. Written for treble voices, marimba, cello, percussion and piano, the work combines singing, movement, staging and visual effects.

The program is presented by over eighty singers of Cantabile’s Performance Division and conducted by Artistic Director Elena Sharkova.
