Linger Awhile, Samara Joy’s 2022 breakthrough album, made her a rising star among American jazz vocalists, landing her Grammy Awards for Best Jazz Vocal Album and Best New Artist. Her follow-up Portrait reimagines standards and classics of the Great American Songbook and garnered two more Grammys. Now she is making her case to join the likes of Sarah, Ella, and Billie as one of the enduring voices of jazz.
