Stanford Live reopened with Stanford Under the Stars: Movie Nights at Frost, which features a selection of movies starring actors who attended Stanford and films set in iconic locations in Northern California.
Opening weekend of Stanford Under the Stars: Movie Nights at Frost marked Stanford Live’s first in-person event since March 2020. The weekend’s lineup of movies featured Reese Witherspoon, who attended Stanford as an English major before leaving to pursue a career in acting.
The latest Backstage Pass virtual event hosted a panel of performing arts professionals in conversation with Stanford Live executive director Chris Lorway about how their organizations plan to open their doors to the public again. Panelists included Claire Hopkinson, Alison Friedman, and Ntshadi Mofokeng.
