Can't Make a Performance?
If unforeseen circumstances prevent you from using your Stanford Live tickets, we offer both exchanges and donations. For assistance, email email@example.com.
Our Promise To You
If a performance is canceled or rescheduled, you may exchange to a different performance within the same season (excluding Frost Amphitheater performances), donate your ticket as a tax-deductible donation to Stanford Live, or request a refund. To learn more about our approach to the 2021–22 season, visit our FAQ page.
Exchanges may be made by phone or online for another Stanford Live performance during the current season, pending availability. All prices and programs are subject to change. Exchanges will be made for the value of your ticket(s) at time of purchase.
Due to the extraordinary circumstances and ongoing health crisis, we are pleased to offer free ticket exchanges to all patrons until further notice for the 2021–22 season.
Exchanges can be made by phone or online for another performance during the current Stanford Live season, pending availability. If ticket exchanges are for a lower-priced ticket, the difference may be used towards additional Stanford Live event tickets or placed on account for future use during the current Stanford Live season.
For the 2021–22 season, all ticket exchanges must be completed by 11:59 PM the day prior to the performance.
All ticket exchanges must be for Stanford Live performances during the current season, pending availability.
We cannot accept requests to exchange tickets from Stanford Live events to academic (Department of Music) or other campus performances not affiliated with Stanford Live.
Ticket exchanges will not be accepted after the deadlines listed above or at the venue ticket window. We cannot exchange or accept as a donation tickets for past or missed performances.

- Tickets for the new performance will be based on availability at the time the exchange request is processed by the Bing Concert Hall Ticket Office.
You can also donate your tickets, which allows us to sell your returned seats to another patron—and also provides you with a tax deduction. Please note: the value of the ticket donation does not apply toward a Stanford Live membership.
Your ticket donation helps provide access for audiences that might not otherwise have the economic means to attend, such as schools and local charitable organizations. We thank you for your gift and for keeping the arts a vital and vibrant part of our community.
All donated tickets are tax-deductible (for the lesser of face value or fair market value) if received by the deadlines noted below. Consult your personal tax advisor for details. Please read the following procedures to donate your tickets.
The Bing Concert Hall Ticket Office accepts Stanford Live ticket donations up to 60 minutes before the event’s start time.
Ticket donations made at the venue box office less than 60 minutes before the performance are not tax-deductible.
