If unforeseen circumstances prevent you from using your Stanford Live tickets, we offer both exchanges and donations. For assistance, email bingboxoffice@stanford.edu.

If a performance is canceled or rescheduled, you may exchange to a different performance within the same season (excluding Frost Amphitheater performances co-presented with Goldenvoice), donate your ticket as a tax-deductible donation to Stanford Live, or request a refund.

Exchanges may be made by phone or online for another Stanford Live or Department of Music performance during the current season, pending availability. All prices and programs are subject to change. Exchanges will be made for the value of your ticket(s) at time of purchase.

  • All ticket exchanges must be completed by 11:59 PM the day before the performance.
  • All ticket exchanges must be for Stanford Live or Department of Music performances during the current season, pending availability.
  • Ticket exchanges will not be accepted after the deadlines listed above or at the venue ticket window. We cannot exchange or accept as a donation tickets for past or missed performances.

Please use this form to submit your exchange request for the 2023–24 season.

Tickets for the new performance will be based on availability at the time the exchange request is processed by the Stanford Live Ticket Office. 

Donations

Donations

You can also donate your tickets, which allows us to sell your returned seats to other patrons. Please note: the value of the ticket donation does not apply toward a Stanford Live membership.

Your ticket donation helps provide access for audiences that might not otherwise have the economic means to attend, such as schools and local charitable organizations. We thank you for your gift and for keeping the arts a vital and vibrant part of our community.

Please call the Stanford Live Ticket Office at 650.724.2464 with your tickets in hand and a representative will be happy to assist you. Ticket donations will be accepted up to 60 minutes before the performance.

Please allow at least 10 business days for the mailed tickets to reach the Stanford Live Ticket Office. Please note that the Stanford Live Ticket Office cannot be responsible for the timeliness of delivery by the postal service.

Department of Music event tickets are not eligible for donation. 

Refunds

Refunds

Due to the nature of live performance, all programs and prices are subject to change. Tickets are nonrefundable, except in the case of a canceled event. Tickets for past or missed performances may not be exchanged or donated.

Notification list for tickets to at-capacity events

Even though a performance may reach capacity in advance, at times tickets may be released and become available for sale. In order to expand the number of people who can enjoy our performances, we have created an online notification list to inform patrons when tickets have been released for sold-out events. Signing up for the list does not guarantee a seat, and purchases will be fulfilled in the order received.
