If unforeseen circumstances prevent you from using your Stanford Live tickets, we offer both exchanges and donations. For assistance, email bingboxoffice@stanford.edu.

Our Promise To You

If a performance is canceled or rescheduled, you may exchange to a different performance within the same season (excluding Frost Amphitheater performances), donate your ticket as a tax-deductible donation to Stanford Live, or request a refund. To learn more about our policies, visit our FAQ page.

Donations

You can also donate your tickets, which allows us to sell your returned seats to another patron—and also provides you with a tax deduction. Please note: the value of the ticket donation does not apply toward a Stanford Live membership.

Your ticket donation helps provide access for audiences that might not otherwise have the economic means to attend, such as schools and local charitable organizations. We thank you for your gift and for keeping the arts a vital and vibrant part of our community.

All donated tickets are tax-deductible (for the lesser of face value or fair market value) if received by the deadlines noted below. Consult your personal tax advisor for details. Please read the following procedures to donate your tickets.

  • The Bing Concert Hall Ticket Office accepts Stanford Live ticket donations up to 60 minutes before the event’s start time.

  • Ticket donations made at the venue box office less than 60 minutes before the performance are not tax-deductible.

  • We cannot accept tickets for past or missed performances as a donation.

  • The value of the ticket donation does not apply toward a Stanford Live membership.
