Welcome Back to Stanford Live

Your health and safety are our top priorities. Please be assured that Stanford Live is following guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Santa Clara County, and the state of California for increased health and safety procedures.

The following policies are based on the current state, local, and university guidance we have available to us. We will let you know if things change as we may receive further guidance from state, county, and university officials on upcoming events. Visit our FAQ page to learn more.

Health & Safety Protocols

Touch-less ticket scanning

Tickets will be emailed to you and scanned on your phone at point of entry. Seating pods must arrive all together to enter the venue.

Face coverings

For outdoor shows at Frost Amphitheater, masks are required for unvaccinated patrons, and optional for fully vaccinated patrons. For indoor shows at Bing Concert Hall, masks are required for all patrons. Please bring your own face coverings that cover your nose and mouth and wear them at all times. Masks with valves will not be allowed. If you are eating, please cover your face between bites and sips.

COVID Vaccinations and Testing

All visitors coming to an indoor performance at Stanford Live (Bing Concert Hall, Bing Studio, Memorial Auditorium, Memorial Church) must meet at least one of two criteria: 1) be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 OR 2) receive a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours prior to arrival onsite.


Keep six feet apart

Please follow signage and ground markings to ensure proper physical distancing. All patrons must sit in their assigned seats during the concert. Chairs cannot be moved

Cover your cough, and wash your hands frequently

Hand-sanitizing stations are available throughout Frost Amphitheater.

Clear Bag Policy

Only clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags that do not exceed 12"W x 12"H x 6"D will be allowed in.
Please do not attend if you have a fever or any COVID-19 symptoms, have tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 14 days, or have had close contact with anyone who is confirmed or is suspected of having COVID-19.


Please Note

While we are taking measures to enhance the safety of our patrons and employees, an inherent risk of exposure to and infection with COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present, and a visit to a Stanford Live venue may still pose a risk to your safety. By visiting Stanford Live, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure of COVID-19. Failure to follow these guidelines will result in removal from the venue.
